Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Unit

The Paediatric Neurorehabilitation focuses on the set of measures which, in an overall and interdisciplinary way, seek to offer responses to transitory or permanent needs caused by alterations in development or deficiencies in early childhood. Its aim is to promote the greatest autonomy possible in the child and to boost the development of their capacities.

The Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Unit in Clínica Corachan's Neurosciences Department is aimed at children and adolescents with neurological diseases, alterations in their development or at risk of suffering from them. Specifically, all those with any of the following pathologies:

  • Infantile Cerebral Palsy (ICP)
  • Prematurity
  • Cerebral haemorrhage
  • Congenital torticollis
  • Tumours of the central nervous system
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
  • Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Attention deficit disorder (ADD)
  • Pervasive developmental disorder (PDD)
  • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Foetal alcohol syndrome (FAS)
  • Epilepsy
  • Rare diseases and neurogenetic syndromes
