Menopause unit
Menopause occurs when a woman stops ovulating and therefore, also stops menstruating. It is a progressive process that usually appears at around the age of 50.
At the Corachan Dona Menopause Unit we accompany women during this new phase, reducing the associated disorders and providing customised treatments:
- Specific treatment for osteoporosis
- Treatment for pathologies linked to hormone deficiency
- Nutritional advice
- Early diagnosis and prevention of breast, endometrial, cervical and ovarian cancer
- Psychological assessment
- Contraception during the perimenopause
