Centre of Oncological Excellence
The collaboration between multidisciplinary groups is the most advanced strategy to approach the treatment of cancer patients. It is this that gave rise to the union between GenesisCare, a leader in cancer treatment with more than 60 centres throughout the world, of which 21 are in Spain, and Clínica Corachan, one of the best clinics in Spain and a benchmark in Catalan private health, leading to the creation of the GenesisCare Clínica Corachan Centre of Oncological Excellence.

El Dr. Joaquim Bellmunt is one of the great international figures in cancer treatment. A recognised expert in urogenital tumours, with far-reaching experience in all kinds of tumours and a leader in immunotherapy, he was the director of the Bladder Cancer Center at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston and is currently an associate professor at Harvard. Accompanied by a team of experts in different types of cancer, Dr. Bellmunt leads this Centre of Excellence in Barcelona.
