The clinical genetics examination provides comprehensive care to patients with diseases with a genetic basis and to their family members, handling the diagnosis, follow-up, management and genetic assessment.

It is a functional unit around a unique diagnostic process which ranges from the clinical aspect to the diagnostic laboratory for genetic diseases, taking into account their complex nature and the need for comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
